Introducing Hasta La Flip-Flops!


Hasta La Flip-Flops! is the story of Louie ‘The Lip’ O’Brien, a well-known face on the club scene of Palma, Mallorca from 1967 until the early 90s and, in his own way, a legend.

Louie’s story is not just a great adventure, involving hilarious escapades and encounters with gangsters and other larger than life characters.

It’s a story of a time that begins in sunlight, when young people tasted freedom in the sun for the first time and a revolution was quietly taking place in Spain, especially Mallorca. Back when it was Majorca.

But it’s a story that ends in darkness, when, for Louie who believed he’d found paradise in the sun forever, the party is over.

    Only Louis (The Lip) could have lived this true story I can’t wait to read the book.
